State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that Mrs Mary E. Furman and Charles D. Furman
her husband of the aforesaid County and State
for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty Five
(55) Dollars to her in hand paid by Mrs L.C. Baylis
of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the
receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have
granted bargained sold and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and Convey unto her the said Mrs
L.C. Baylis all of that Certain lot piece tract or parcel
of land situated lying and being in the County of
Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known
and described as follows to wit: Commencing at the
North West Corner of E.C. Halls Lot No five (5) in the
town of Fairbanks County of Alachua and State of
Florida thence running Easterly along the North
line of said Lot No five (5) to Mrs L.C. Baylis Lot
thence Northerly to the North West Corner of Mrs L.C.
Baylis said lot thence Westerly parallel with the
North line of said E.C. Halls Lot No five (5) to fourth
Street thence Southerly along the East line of said Street
to the North West Corner of said Lot No fife (5) the
place of Commencement all situated in Section
Twelve (12) Township Nine (9) South Range Twenty
(20) East in the Town of Fairbanks County of Alachua
and State of Florida Containing by estimation more
than one half acre of land more or less.
Together with all and Singular the tenements heredi-
taments and appurtenances to the Same belonging
or in anywise appertaining, To Have and to Hold
the Same unto her the Said Mrs L.C. Baylis and to
her heirs executors administrators and assigns in
fee Simple absolute forever And we the Said Mary
E. Furman and Charles D. Furman her husband
do hereby Covenant and agree to and with the said
Mrs L.C. Baylis that they are lawfully Seized in fee of
the property herein and hereby Conveyed; and that
We have good and lawful right to sell and Convey
the Same; that the Same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever and that we will and our
heirs executors and administrators Shall and
will forever warrant and defend the Same unto
her the said Mrs L.C. Baylis and to her heirs
executors administrators and assigns against the
lawful claims and demands of any and all
