George M. Whetston and his wife Charity E. Whetston of the County
and State aforesaid and Mrs Laura A. Weeks of the State of Florida
Alachua County Witnesseth that the said Geo M. Whetston and his wife
Charity E. Whetston of the party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Twenty dollars to them in hand Paid at and before the
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hath bargained sold and by these presents doth grant
bargain sell release and confirm unto the said Mrs. Laura A Weeks the
party of the second part all of a tract or parcel of land the same
lying in Alachua County and State of Florida said land commencing at
the North East corner running South Six chains to a Stake thence
West thirty degrees South the west line of said eighty acres
all of said land lying west and North of said line the said land
being that portion of the West half of south West quarter of Section
6 Township 9 Rang 16 Together with all buildings and appurtenances
of whatsoever kind thereon situated as well all remainder or remainders
profits resulting from the same to have and to hold the said bargained
premises the only proper use and behalf of the said Mrs Laura A. Weeks
her heirs executors administrators and assigns doth and will warrant
and defend unto the said Mrs Laura A. Weeks her heirs executors
administrators and assigns forever the Title to the premises hereby
conveyed against the lawful claims of any and all persons whatsoever

E. Whetston wife of Geo M. Whetston the party executing the annexed
deed for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me
in hand paid at and before the sealing of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged doth relinquish all of my
right to dower in the premises hereby conveyed and the same is
done done of my own free will will and accord without any
constraint or fear of my said husband. In testimony whereof I have hereunto
affixed my hand and seal this the 28th day of May AD 1882
