county and State do hereby certify unto all whom it may concern that
Susan S. Metcalfe to me well known as the wife of John T. Melcalfe and as
one of the persons described in and who executed the foregoing deed
of conveyance did this day to me on a private examination made
seperately and apart from her said husband acknowledge and declare that
she made herself a party to and executed the same for the purpose
of renouncing and relinquishing all and every dower and right of dower
in and to the lands in said conveyance described and that the same
was done freely and voluntarily and without any constraint apprehension
or fear of or from her said husband the said John T. Metcalfe.

Notice
Notice is hereby given that under Chapter thirty six (XXXVI) of
McClellans Digest of the laws of Florida there will be a congregation
al meeting of the numbers of the Gainesville Presbyterian church at
12:30 o'clock p.m. on June 25 1882 for the purpose of electing Trustees
and take such other steps as may be necessary for incorporating
said church

Be it remembered that at a meeting of the members of
the "Gainesville Presbyterian Church" of the city of
Gainesville State of Florida, called by notice published
in the "Gainesville Weekly Bee" a public Gazette pub-
lished in the said City of Gainesville said notice
having been published in the numbers of said News
paper iussed on the 16th instant the following pro-
ceedings were had to wit: - The meeting was called to order
by Elder Edwin P. Cater and H.E. Day was appointed secretary
and E.P. Cater Chairman. Elder J.D. Matheson then stated
the object of the meeting whereupon the following
resolutions were offered by P.H. Young and declared
adopted 1st that the members of this church and
congregation be and the same are hereby formed into |
