and declared to be a Corporation under the general act
of the Legislature of the State of Florida for the in-
Corporation of Churches or religious societies to be known
under the name or title of the "First Presbyterian Church -
of Gainesville in the City of Gainesville State of Florida
in Connection with the Florida Presbytery and the
General Assembly of the United States.
2nd It is further resolved that Five Trustees be elected
by this Church and Congregation to be known and
designated at the Trustees of the "First Presbyterian
Church of Gainesville" who shall hold their offices
until the 1st day of January AD 1883.
3rd And that thereafter Trustees shall be elected once a year
as soon after the 1st day of January of each year
as possible and that if from any cause an Election
for Trustees should not be held at the time appointed
them the Trustees previously elected shall be authorized
to act until their Successors are elected
And thereupon the following named gentlemen were
elected Trustees of & for "The First Presbyterian Church of
Gainesville" by Ballot, J.D. Matheson P. Miller
H.E. Day A.J. Vidal M.F. Miller. The Secretary was
then requested to notify the said Trustees of their
Election. Upon motion the meeting adjourned sine die
in the absence of any further business before them.

The undersigned do hereby Certify that we were duly
elected Trustees of & for "The First Presbyterian Church
of Gainesville" in Gainesville Florida at a meeting held
for that purpose June the 25th AD 1882 to Serve until
January 1st 1883 or until our Successors are elected as
