"Deed"
State of Florida }
Alachua County } This Indenture made this 19th day of
September AD 1882 between William F. Caraway of said
State and County and his wife Monizia E. Caraway
who joins her husband in this Conveyance for the purpose
of relinquishing her dower in the lands hereinafter des-
cribed parties of the first part and William C. Vanatta
of the County of Alachua State of Florida of the second
part: Witnesseth, That for and in Consideration of the sum
of One Thousand Dollars to the parties of the first part
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained sold and by these presents do grant
bargain sell and Convey unto the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns in fee Simple all of that Certain
tract or parcel of land lying and being in said State and
County and described as follows to wit: Lot number (4)
four in section (16) Sixteen Township (11) Eleven S Range
Twenty Two (22) E Containing Forty Three acres 16/100 also
starting at the South East Corner of Section Sixteen run-
ning South two hundred and ten feet and thence West to
Lochloocy lake, and thence North Two hundred and
ten feet to the South West Corner of Section Sixteen
Containing Five acres more or less and being in lot
one Section Twenty one Township Eleven Range Twenty-
-two in said State and County being the lands Conveyed
by the School Board of the said State to James R.
Adkins the 9th day of November AD 1878 and Con-
veyed to said Caraway by deed dated December 14th
1878 from said Adkins and recorded in the public
records of said County in Deed Book "K" pages 690 & 691
and also a tract of five acres more or less described
in said last mentioned deed and it is agreed by and
between said parties that said Caraway the grantor shall
occupy said premises herewith Conveyed until December
(25th) Twenty Fifth next free of rent. To Have and to Hold
the above described land to the Said party of the Second
part his heirs and assigns together with the rights members
and appurtenances thereunto being belonging or in any
manner appertaining. And the said parties of the first
part for themselves their heirs executors administrators
and assigns the title to the above bargained sold and Con-
veyed premises will forever Warrant and defend against
all legal claims and demands
