  Florida Board of Education to Mrs Sarah E. Dennis
Deed No 235            "Deed"
  Know all men by these Presents That the Board of Education of Florida 
under an act of the General Assembly of the State of Florida entitled 
"An Act to establish a Uniform System of Common Schools and a University 
in this State" approved January 30 1869 for and in consideration 
of the sum of One & 25/100 Dollar per acre to them in hand paid by Mrs Sarah 
E. Dennis of the County of Alachua State of Florida have granted bargained 
and sold and do by these presents grant bargain sell and convey 
unto the said Mrs Sarah E. Dennis and her heirs and assigns forever 
the following described Lands to wit: Islands Numbered one and Two
in Section Sixteen Township Twelve South of Range Twenty two East in
Orange Lake containing Forty three 1/100 acres and lying and being in 
the County of Alachua in said State of Florida. To Have and to Hold unto 
the said Sarah E. Dennis and her heirs and assigns forever in fee Simple
In Testimony Whereof A Majority of the members of said Board have hereunto 
subscribed their names and affixed their seals and have caused an 
impression of the seal of "The Florida State Land Office" to be made hereupon 
at the Capitol in the City of Tallahassee on this the First day of 
September AD eighteen hundred and Seventy six
