State of Pennsylvania the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained Sold and conveyed and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Adolph Schaefer and Frederick
Britenger all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land Situated lying
and being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly known
and described as follows to wit: Commencing at a point on the North boundary
of Lot (VI) Six and (2 1/2) Two and 1/2 chains west of the NE Corner of Lot
(VI) Six of Goodsons Addition to Melrose and proceeding on a line
running S 84° W (12.13) chains thence South (10) chains thence on a
line running S 41 1/2° East (17 1/2) chaines thence North (25) chains to the
point of beginning being in Sec (13) T(9) SR(22)E containing by estimation
(20) twenty acres of land more or less. Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any
wise appertaining To have and Hold the same unto the said Adolph Schaefer
and Frederick Britinger and to their heirs executors administrators and assigns
in fee simple and absolute and the said John A. Goodson and Mary
Goodson do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Adolph Schaefer
and Frederick Britinger that they are lawfully Seized in fee of the property
herein and hereby conveyed; and that they have good and lawful right
to sell the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances of any kind
whatsoever and that they will and their heirs executors and administrators
shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto the said Adolph
Schaefer and Frederick Britinger and to their heirs executors administrators
and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of any and all
persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In Witness

Putnam County } A.D. 1882 before me personally appeared Mrs. Mary
Goodson wife of John A. Goodson the Grantor in the foregoing Conveyance
who being first duly questioned and examined by me separate and
apart from her said husband says and acknowledges before me that
she did sign the said deed of Conveyance for the purpose of
releasing relinquishing and renouncing all of her right of dower
in and to the land in said deed described and that said relinquis-
hment and renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely
and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint apprehe=
nsion or fear of or from her said husband
