James D. Matheson and J.T. McMillan Trustees to S. Douglas Emmerson
"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we James D.
County of Alachua} Matheson and James T. McMillan Trustees for certain
Judgment creditors of the Estate of John W. Anderson deceased for and in
consideration of the sum of four hundred and twenty four Dollars ($42400)
to us as such Trustees in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto S. Douglas
Emerson also of said State and county (aforesaid) those certain
tracts parcels or pieces of Land in the said State and County
designated upon W.C. Millers map or plat of what is popularly
known as "The Leitner Lands" as Lots numbers Sixteen and Twenty
five (16 & 25) containing Eighty (80) acres more or less of Land and
Water the same being in Lot No 8 of The Moses E. Levy Grant said
map being recorded at page 645 of Deed Book "J" (August 29th 1877) of
the Records of the Circuit Court of Alachua County State of Florida
To Have and To Hold the same to Him the said S. Douglas Emerson
his Heirs Executors administrators and assigns in fee simple forever
In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our Hands and affixed
our seals on this the twenty fourth day of October A.D. 1882
