and purposes therein contained and expressed

    E.D. Barnett and Wife to W.M. Knox
                     "Deed"

State of Florida}
Alachua County  } This Indenture made and entered into this the 12th day of 
July AD 1882 between E.D. Barnett and Alvania A. Barnett parties of the
first part and William M. Knox party of the second part all of the State
and county aforesaid Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the
sum of One thousand dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the
second part at and before the signing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained
sold conveyed and released unto the said William M. Knox party
of the second part the following lot of land lying and being situated
in the Vilag of Micanopy and more particularly described as follows
an undivided half interested (to wit) In the North half of Section twenty
six (26) Township Eleven (11) of Range twenty (20) South of Range twenty (20) of
                                               (by estimation)
the Arredondo grant and containing Eighty acres of ^ land in the town of
Micanopy and bounded as follows on the South by lands owned by William
Edwards. G.R. Fairbanks. William M. Knox Mrs. Susan A. Knox and
D.H. Wagoner on the East by lands owned by John S. Livingston and
on the North and West by lands belonging to B.W. Powell also a lot in
the said Village containing a Stone house and bounded South by B.W.
Fontane East by John S. Livingston North by M. Shiretzki and West by
the public square also a small vacant lot in the said village bounded
North by W.M. Avant West by the public square South by M. Shiretski
East by John S. Livingston. To Have and to Hold the above described and
granted premises together with all and singular the houses buildings and
improvements thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the said party
of the second part his heirs executors or administrators and assigns in fee simple
forever and the said parties of the first part covenants and agrees with the party
of the second part that they are seized in fee of the premises aforegranted
