Wm M. Knox to William E. Alexander and Son
             "Deed"

State of Florida} Know all men by these presents that I William M. Knox
Alachua County  } of the above county and state for and in consideration of
the sum of three hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid by
William E. Alexander and Son of the city of Savannah and State of
Georgia the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold
and released and by these presents doth grant sell convey and release
unto the said William E. Alexander and son all of that certain lot tract
or parcel of land situated and being in the town of Micanopy State of Florida
and county of Alachua. Said lot or tract of land being at the making of
this indenture free from any mortgage lien or other encumbrance or
any other claim whatever except that vested by lawful deed and title
in me the said William M. Knox said lot or parcel of land being
known as the "Neal office lot" and bounded on the south by lot claimed
by J.M. Feaster now owned by Thos McCredie on the East by lot J.H. Stokes
on the North by lot of Thos T. King and on the west by the Public square
said lot extending Fifty (50) feet on the North and south line and one
hundred and eighty five (185) feet on the East and west lines. Together
with all and singular the improvements tenements hereditaments to the
same belonging or in any way appertaining. To have and to Hold the
above described property unto the said William E. Alexander and son their
heirs and assigns in fee simple forever. In testimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of Oct 1882

Alachua County  } Know all men by these presents that on this 28th
day of Oct 1882 personally came before me Mrs. Martha F. Knox to me
well known as the wife of William M. Knox who being examined by me
separate and apart from her said husband says that she hereby
relinquishes all of her claim and right of dower in and to the foregoing
described tract or parcel of land of her own free will and accord and
without fear or constraint of or from her said husband and that in
witness whereof she hereto sets her hand and seal this day and date
above written

Alachua County  } Before me personally came T.P. Creech who being duly
sworn says that he saw William M. Knox sign seal execute and
deliver the foregoing deed of conveyance for the uses and purposes therein
contained and expressed and that he together with B.W. Fontane signed the
same as subscribing witnesses thereto
