F.W. Fontane & B.W. Fontane to Henry F. Dutton
"Deed"
State of Florida }
Alachua County } Know all men by these presents that we F.W. Fontane and
B.W. Fontane her husband of the aforesaid State and County for and in
consideration of the sum of Two Thousand Dollars to us cash in hand on
this day paid by Henry F. Dutton of Gainesville Fla the Receipt whereof we
do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold aliened and conveyed and by
these presents do grant bargain sell alien and convey unto him the said
Henry F. Dutton all of that certain Lot tract piece or parcel of land situated
lying and being in the Town of Gainesville in Alachua County in the
State of Florida more particularly described upon the maps and plans of said
Town of Gainesville as being the south half of Block Four (4) Range six (6)
containing one half of an acre of land more or less Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging
or in anywise appertaining To Have and to Hold the same unto him the
said Henry F. Dutton and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee
simple absolutely forever. And we the said F.W. Fontane and B.W. Fontane her
husband do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Henry F. Dutton
that we have good and lawful right to sell and to convey the same; that
the same is free and clear of all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever
and that we will and our and each of our heirs executors and administrators
shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto him the said
Henry F. Dutton and to his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims
and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or to
claim the same. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands
and affixed hereto our seals on this 7 day of November AD 1882

and County do hereby certify that on this 7th day of Nov AD 1882 before
me in person appeared Mrs. Fannie W. Fontane wife of Benjamin W.
Fontane to me well and personally known who being first duly questioned
and examined by me separate and apart from her said husband did say
and acknowledge before me upon such private and separate examination
that she did execute sign seal and deliver the foregoing Deed of her
separate estate freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
