and being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida particularly
known and described as follows to wit: That Lot of land lying and
being in the Town of Micanopy in the State of Florida and situated as
follows to wit: Bounded on the North by land or lot owned by E.D. Barnett
and W.M. Knox on the West by lot owned by E.D. Barnett on the South
by Lot owned by D.A. Miller and on the East by lot owned by Dr A.H.
Mathers containing by estimation one acres of land more or less.
Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appur-
tenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining To Have and
to Hold the same unto him the said Patrick McQuaid and to his heirs
executors administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute and we
the said William M. Knox and Mattie F. Knox do hereby covenant and
agree to and with the said Patrick McQuaid that we are lawfully
seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that we
have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same
is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever and that we
will and our heirs executors and administrators shall and will
warrant and defend the same unto him the said Patrick McQuaid and
to his heirs executors administrators and assigns against the lawful 
claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or
hereafter to claim the same. In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set

Alachua County   }  before me personally appeared Mrs Mattie F. Knox
wife of William M. Knox the grantor in the foregoing conveyance who
being first duly questioned and examined by me separate and apart
from her said husband says and acknowledges before me that she did sign
the said deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and
renouncing all of her right of Dower in and to the land in said deed
described and that said relinquishment and renunciation of Dower was done
and made by her freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion
constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband.
