Sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the
second part all that lot tract piece or parcel of land lying and
being situated in the State and County aforesaid particularly
described as follows To Wit Beginning at the North East corner of the
"Thomas Napier Grant" and running thence South Eighty four and
three quarter (84 3/4) degrees East Ten (10) chains Thence North Five
and a quarter (5 1/4) degrees East Five (5) chains. Thence East Twenty
feet (20 ft.) at which point is located the South West corner of
the lot or tract herein and hereby conveyed. From this point moving
North Five and a quarter (5 1/4) degrees East Twenty (20) chains thence
South Eighty four and three quarters (84 3/4) degrees East Ten (10) chains
thence South Five and a quarter (5 1/4) degrees West Twenty (20) chains
Thence North Eighty four and three quarters (84 3/4) degrees West Ten (10) chains
to the Starting point (or South West corner) of this tract - containing by
estimation Twenty (20) Acres of land more or less Together with all the
rights privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise
appertaining. To Have and To Hold unto the said party of the second part
and to his heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever in fee
simple absolute. And the said parties of the first part do hereby
covenant and agree with the said party of the second part that they
are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed
and that they have good and lawful right to sell and convey
the same That the same is free from all encumbrances and that they
will and their heirs executors and administrators shall and will forever
warrant and defend the same unto the said party of the second part
and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns against the
lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now
claiming or hereafter to claim the same. In testimony whereof the said

Alachua County } I hereby certify that on this 11th day of November
AD 1882 before me personally came Mrs O.C. Colclough the wife of
Chas A Colclough one of the grantors in the foregoing deed of
conveyance who upon being duly questioned and examined by me
separate and apart from her said husband says and acknowledges in
my presence that she signed and sealed the said deed for the
purpose of conveying to the grantee therein named all her right title
interest and separate property in and to the tract of land in said
deed described and conveyed and that she did the same freely and
voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint apprehension or
fear of or from her said husband |
