    Samuel A. Swann to Mary H. Tolar and Mathew A. Tolar
                    "Deed"
This Indenture made the Twenty first day of August Anno Domini
Eighteen Hundred and Eighty between Samuel A. Swann of the City of
Fernandina County of Nassau and State of Florida: widower: party of
the first part and Mary H. Tolar wife of Mathew A. Tolar of the Town
of Waldo County of Alachua and State of Florida party of the second
part: Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for and in
consideration of One Hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the
said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath given granted aliened bargained sold transferred and do by these
presents give grant alien bargain sell transfer and convey unto the said
party of the second part and her heirs and assigns forever all that certain
Lot Tract or Parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the said town
of Waldo said County of Alachua and State of Florida and
known and described on the official plat or map of said town as
Lot Eight (8) in Block Sixteen (16) Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto
belonging and also all the estate right title interest property claim
and demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity of the said party
of the first part of in and to the same with the appurtenances
To Have and to Hold the above described premises with the appur-
tenances thereunto belonging unto the said party of the second
part and her heirs and assigns as her & their absolute property in fee
simple forever. And the said Samuel A. Swann for himself and for
all others claiming by through or under him does covenant and
agree that he is seized in fee simple of a good and indefeasible
estate in and to the above premises by deed from J. Eli Gregg
bearing date December 5th 1872 and that he has conveyed the same free
and discharged from all encumbrances and liens of any and every
nature and description created by himself and that the said party
of the second part her heirs and assigns shall quietly and peaceably
enjoy the above described premises against all persons whomsoever lawfully
claiming by through or under him the said party of the first part.
In testimony whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto affixed
his hand and seal this this the day and year above written

State of North Carolina } On this day personally appeared before
County of Buncombe      } me Samuel A. Swann to me well known
as the person described in and who executed the foregoing deed of
conveyance and acknowledged that he executed the same for the purpose
therein expressed whereupon it is prayed that the same may be recorded -
