                       "Deed"
State of Florida } This Indenture made this Third day of November AD
Alachua County   } 1882 between Gregory Y. Thigpen of Hawthorn in said
State and County parties of the first part and James R. Adkins of
Hawthorn and of the County of Alachua State of Florida of the second
part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Two
Hundred and Fifty Dollars to the parties of the first part paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns in fee
simple all of that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
in said State and County and described as follows to wit;
Beginning at the South West corner of the North East Quarter of the
South East Quarter of Section Twenty seven Township Ten South
Range Twenty Two East thence North (86°) Eighty Six degrees East (7.00)
Seven chains thence North (2° 30') Two degrees and thirty minutes
West (7.15) Seven and fifteen hundredths chains thence South (86°)
Eighty Six Degrees West (7.00) Seven chains; thence South (2° 30' E) Two
degrees and thirty minutes East (7.15) Seven and fifteen hundredths
chains back to place of beginning containing five acres being a 
part of land conveyed to said Thigpen by John C. Thigpen &
wife September 18 AD 1882. To have and to hold the above
described land to the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns together with the rights members and appurtenances
thereunto being belonging or in any manner appertaining And
the said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs
executors administrators and assigns the title to the above
bargained sold and conveyed premises will forever warrant and
defend against all legal claims and demands.
In Testimony Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals
