"Deed"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that Alpha B. Snavelly
Alachua County } and Sylva M. Snavelly of the aforesaid County and State for
and in consideration of the sum of Eighteen Hundred dollars to them in hand
paid by Joseph A. Winslow of Fairmount of the County of Grant in the State
of Indiana the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained
sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said Josephine A. Winslow all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of
of land Situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, in the State of
Florida particularly known and described as follows to wit: The North East
Quarter and the East half of the North West Quarter of Section Sixteen (16) Town
(11) Eleven and Range (18) Eighteen East containing 240 acres of land more or
less. Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurt-
enances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining. To have and to
hold the same unto the said Joseph A. Winslow and to his heirs executors
administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute. And we the said Alpha
B. Snavelly and Sylvia M. Snavelly do hereby covenant and agree to and
with the said Joseph A. Winslow that we are lawfully seized in fee of
the property herein and hereby conveyed; and that we have good and lawful
right to sell and convey the same, that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs executors and
administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto
the said Josephine A. Winslow and to his heirs executors administrators
and assigns against the lawful claims and demands of any and
all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same.

day of November AD 1882
