June in the Year 1879 before me Edward Shippen a Commissioner for the
State of Florida residing in the City & County of Philadelphia and State
aforesaid personally appeared in said City & County the bove name
Lehman P. Ashmead, John G. Nichols and Emma A. his wife to me
known to be the persons who executed the foregoing and annexed deed
by them sealed and subscribed and acknowledged that they Executed
the same for the uses and purposes therein Expressed and the said Emma
A. Nichols Wife of said John G. Nichols upon being Examined by me separate
and apart from her said husband acknowledged in my presence that she
made herself a party to the said deed for the express purpose of renouncing
and relinquishing all her right of dower in the property conveyed by
said deed and that she did the same freely and voluntarily and
without any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from her

State of Florida } Know all men by these presents That I Richard Roe
Alachua County   } of Said County for and in consideration of the Sum of
Two hundred dollars do hereby sell and convey and quit claim
unto W.W. McCall & Thrasher Davis & Hampton and to their heirs
executors administrators and assigns that certain tract or lot of
land situated in Alachua County Said State in Section Thirty
Six Township Eleven Range Twenty Two and known and dis-
tinguished as Lot number fifteen (15) together with all and Sin-
gular the rights tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining To have
and to hold unto the said parties of the Second part
their heirs and assigns against the claim or Claims of any
all parties Claiming by through or under myself the
said party of the first part And I the Said party of
the first part do hereby agree to take good care
