        County   } Know all men by these presents
That That this Indenture made this Twenty Second day of
November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty between W.A. Smith and Mary J. his wife of
the County of Alachua and State of Florida for and in Consid-
eration of the Sum one thousand Dollars to them in hand
paid by Myron A. Smith of the Second party of the
County of Courtland and State of New York the receipt
Whereof is hereby Acknowledged have granted bargained
and sold and do by these presents grant bargain sell
and Convey unto the said Myron A. Smith his heirs
executors Administrators and assigns forever the following
described lot or parcel of land Situate lying and being
in the town of Micanopy County of Alachua and State of
Florida to Wit:: Commencing twenty (20) rods west of the north
East Corner of lot number Eighty (80) on tract of land Known as
the Lightner Estate of the Moses E. Levy grant Thence South
thirty nine (39) rods Thence west Sixteen (16) rods Thence north
nineteen (19) rods Thence west to within twenty nine (29) rods
and three (3) feet of the west line of said lot no (80) Thence
north twenty (20) rods to the north line of said lot thence east
along the north line of said lot to the place of beginning Con-
taining ten (10) Acres more or less with this exception the
Spot of Ground Situate on the east side of the above described
land Forty five (45) feet from the east line and one hundred
and eighty eight (188) feet from the South line Known as the
Indian Mound Said Mound being fifty (50) feet in diameter and
one hundred and fifty Seven (157) feet in Circumference
is and forever shall be exempt from Conveyance in this
Indenture To have and to hold the above granted bargained and
described premises together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances to the Same belonging or
in anywise appertaining to the said party of the second part
his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple
absolute forever and the said William A. Smith for him-
Self and for his heirs executors administrators and assigns
do Covenant and agree to and with the said party of
the Second part that he will and his heirs executors
administrators and assigns Shall forever warrant and
defend the title to the above described premises against
all and every person whomsoever lawfully claiming the Same

fixed their Seal on this 22nd day of November AD 1880
