Mary F. Bliss of above State and County of the first part
and Mrs Ida V. Gates of the town of Gainesville County of
Alachua and State of Florida of Second part. Witnesseth
That I the said Mary F. Bliss party of the first part for and in
Consideration of the Sum of Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars
to me in hand paid the same being lawful money of
United States the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have this day granted bargained & sold and by these
presents do grant bargain sell Convey and confirm
unto Said Mrs Ida V. Gates of Said Town of Gainesville
County of Alachua and State of Florida All that Certain
lot or parcel of Land Situated in western portion of
Town of Gainesville Fla more particularly Known
and described as follows to Wit: Commencing at
a Stake distant from the half mile stake of western
Boundary Line of Section Five (5) T Ten (10) Range twenty (20)
Running East Ten Chains and Sixty (60) links Thence
South Twelve and one half (12 1/2) Chains Thence East
Twelve Chains and ninety (90) Links Thence north Six
(6) Chains and Ten (10) feet Thence west Four Hundred
        (420)
and Twenty^feet Thence north Four Hundred and Twenty (420)
feet Thence west Four Hundred Thirty seven (437) feet To
the place of Beginning Saving and excepting the lot of
Land Four Hundred and Thirty Six (436) feet north and South
            (200)
By Two Hundred^feet east and west In the extreme
north West Corner of before mentioned lot Sold to Mrs Mary
C. Bearse The said lot now being Conveyed by this instru-
ment Containing Eleven (11) Acres more or Less To have and To
Hold all and Singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise
appertaining to her the said Ida V. Gates her heirs
or assigns in fee Simple forever and I do furthermore
Covenant and agree to defend the said Ida V. Gates
in the possession of Said lot against the lawful
Claims of all persons In witness whereof I here-
unto Set my hand and affixed my seal this Seventh
day of February AD 1881
