and in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars lawful money of the
United States of America to them in hand paid by the said party
of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of
these presents the receipt is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien remise release
convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part
and his heirs and assigns forever all that lot or parcel of land lying
and being in the town of Hawthorn County of Alachua and State of
Florida described as follows. Beginning at the North East corner
of Pleasant Grove Church Lot: Thence South 74° West fifty seven
links (0.57): thence South 3° - 30' East four chains and Sixteen links
(2.16) thence North 22° 30' West three chains and Eighty one links (3.81)
back to place of beginning containing fifty four hundredths of
an acre (54/100) To have and to hold the said described premises unto the
said James W. Smith and unto his heirs and assigns forever
And we bind ourselves and our successors in office to forever defend
this deed of conveyance against all and every person or persons
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same we shall
and will warrant and by these presents forever defend
