take possession of said land and all crops and improvements
thereon and sell the same at public auction and after deducting
from the proceeds of such sale any and all sums remaining unpaid
named herein as a consideration and condition of the sale of
said Land to the said Frank Bateman his heirs or assigns In
witness whereof the said Florida Commercial Company hereunto set its
Corporate name and seal by the hand of its land Agent duly
authorized for this purpose this Fourth day of Nov A.D. 1883.

Alachua County } This Indenture made this Thirty first
day of March A.D. 1883, between Leonard G. Dennis of Gaines
ville Alachua County and State of Florida and his wife
Sarah E. Dennis of the first part and Grace E. Keeler of
Gainesville Alachua County and State of Florida of the
second part witnesseth that the said parties of the first
in consideration of three Hundred Dollars in hand paid
by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is here
by acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and
by these presents do grant bargain and sell and convey
unto the said party of the second her heirs and assigns forev
er all that certain piece or parcel of land situated in Gaines
ville Alachua County State of Florida Known and described
as follows commencing at a point Two hundred feet East
from the North West Corner of Block Seven (7) Range
five (5) now owned by said L.G Dennis Thence South one
hundred feet thence East one hundred seventy five feet
more or less to sweet water Branch thence North along
said branch one hundred seventy five feet more or
less to point of beginning containing one half acre more
or less Together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging
and all the state right title interest claim and demand
of the said parties of the first part therein and the
said Leonard G. Dennis and his wife Sarah E Dennis for
Themselves and their Heirs executors and administrators
do covenant and agree to and with the said party of the
second part and her heirs and assigns that the above gran
