County of Alachua}  On this Seventeenth day of April
1883, before me B.A. Thrasher Notary Public personally
appeared James B. Brown and Ella D. Brown his wife
to me Known to be the person described in and who executed
the foregoing instrument and severally acknowledged
the execution thereof to be their free act and deed for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said
Ella D. Brown the wife of the said James B. Brown on
an examination taken and made separately and apart
from her said husband did acknowledge that she made
herself a party to the said deed for the purpose of
renouncing and relinquishing her dower or right of
dower in and to the lands tenements and hereditaments
therein described and thereby granted and released
and that such relinquishment or renunciation of
dower is made by her freely and voluntarily and with
out any constraint apprehension or fear of or from her
said husband Witness my hand and seal of office the
date aforesaid

Internal Improvement fund State of Florida Deed No.
11,826, 27094 61/100 Acres. Whereas the Trustees of the
Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida under
the terms of the agreement of sale and purchase made
between the said Trustees and Hamilton Disston of the
City and County of Philadelphia and State of Pennsy
lvania bearing date the first day of June eighteen
hundred and eighty one, for the consideration of One
Million Dollars therein stipulated to be paid and upon
the terms and condition therein mentioned and recited
agreed for themselves and their successors in office
to sell and convey by good and sufficient deeds convey
ances and assurances to the said Hamilton Disston
and his Associates or to such person or persons
as he might direct or appoint an absolute in-
defeasible estate in fee simple to Four Million Acres
of Land of the lands of said Internal Improvement
Fund acquired by the State of Florida under the
