Intr Imp. State of Florida To Sir Edward James Reed
                     "Deed"
Internal Improvement Fund State of Florida Deed No. 11828. 2,
484 96/100 Acres Whereas the Trustees of the Internal Improvem
ent Fund of the State of Florida under the terms of the agree
ment of sale and purchase made between the said Trustees 
and Hamilton Disston of the City and County of Philadel
phia and State of Pennsylvania bearing date the first 
day of June eighteen hundred and eighty one for the consid
eration of one Million dollars therein stipulated to be 
paid and upon the terms and conditions therein men
tioned and recited agreed for themselves and their succes
sors in office to sell and convey by good and sufficient 
deeds conveyances and assurances to the said Hamilton 
Disston and his associates or to such person or persons
as he may direct or appoint an absolute indefeasible estate 
in fee simple to four Million Acres of land of the lands of 
said Internal Improvement Fund acquired by the State of 
Florida under the Act of Congress of September Twenty
eight eighteen hundred and fifty and whereas the said
Hamilton Disston has directed and appointed Sir Edward
James Reed of England, as the person to whom the title
shall be made to the lands hereinafter described being
part of said Four Million acres and has requested and
directed the said Trustees to make title to the same to the
said Sir Edward James Reed and whereas the one Milli
on Dollars the purchase money for the said Four Million
Acres of Land has been paid in full to the Trustees of the
Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Now therefore
Know all men by these presents that the undersigned
the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the
State of Florida under an act of the General Assembly
of said State entitled an act to Provide for and encou
rage a Liberal System of Internal Improvements in this
State approved January sixth eighteen hundred and
fifty five for and in consideration of the premises
