in and for said State and County do hereby Certify
that on this 20th day of April AD 1883 before me in per
son appeared Mrs Rebecca Gass wife of Theodore C. Gass
to me well and personally Known, who being first duly
questioned and examined by me separate and apart from
her said husband did say and acknowledged before me
upon such private and separate examination that she
did execute sign seal and deliver the foregoing deed
of conveyance for the purpose of absolutely conveying
a part of her separate estate therein described and
also for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and
renouncing all of her right and claim to Dower in
and to the other parties of the land in said deed
described and that such conveyance of her separate
estate and such release relinquishment and renun
tiation of Dower was done made executed signed
sealed and delivered by her freely and voluntarily and
without any compulsion constraint apprehension or
fear of or from her said husband
