Alachua County } This Indenture made this Fifth
day of April AD 1883, between Israel Sherouse
Russel B. Smith and Alexander Goodson and D.C. McIntosh
Trustees of Methodist Episcopal Church South on the
Hawthorn Circuit and their successors in office parties
of the first part and William D. Bailey of Hawthorn and
of the County of Alachua State of Florida of the second
part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum
of one Hundred and Fifty Two Dollars the parties of the
first part paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowled
ged have granted bargained sold and by these pres
ents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns in
fee simple all of that certain tract or parcel of land lying
and being in said State and County and described as
follows to wit Beginning at the North west corner
of Section (15) fifteen Township (10) Ten South of Range
(22) Twenty Two East, Thence (18) Eighteen chains east
to North West corner of Lot Thence South (25°) Twenty
Five Degrees East 3.64 Three and sixty four hundredths
chains Thence East (6) Chains Thence North (25°)
Twenty five Degrees West (3.64) Three and sixty
four hundredths chains thence West (6) six chains to
place of beginning containing (2) Two acres and being
land conveyed to said Methodist Church by Lavenia
A.R. Crumpton and H.A.H. Crumpton by deed dated
the Thirtieth day of October 1877, and recorded in
