R.R. Ormand & Wife To Joseph D. McCraw
                       "Deed"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   }  This Indenture made this Twelfth
day of April A.D. 1883 between Rease R. Ormand of said
State and County and his wife Josephine L. Ormand who
joins her husband in this conveyance for the purpose
of relinquishing her dower in the lands hereinafter
described parties of the first part and Joseph D. McCraw
of Hawthorn of the county of Alachua State of Florida
of the second part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration
of the sum of One Hundred Dollars to the parties of the first
part paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
unto the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns in fee simple all of that certain tract or parcel
of land lying and being in said state and County and
described as follows to wit: The South East Quarter (1/4)
of the North West Quarter (1/4) of Section twenty two (22)
Township (10) South of Range (22) Twenty two East being
land bought by me from the United States April 4th 1883,
being a commutation of Homestead entry No 7347 as will
fully appear by the records of the United States and Office
at Gainesville Florida and being land receipted for by Receiv
ers Receipt No 4591 containing forty and 13/100 Acres by
United States Survey. To have and to hold the above des
cribed land to the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns together with the rights members and
appurtenances thereunto being belonging or in any manner
appertaining and the said parties of the first part for
themselves their heirs executors administrators and assigns
the title to the above bargained sold and conveyed prem
ises will forever warrant and defend against all legal claims
and demands In Testimony whereof we have hereunto set our
hands and seals the date first written.

County of Alachua     Personally appeared before the undersig
ned Rease R. Ormand and Josephine L. Ormand his
wife and acknowledged that they executed the foregoing
deed for the purpose of conveying the land therein described
to Joseph D. McCraw aforesaid and the said Josephine L.
Ormand upon an examination made by me separate and
apart from her husband acknowledges that she made
herself a party to said conveyance for the purpose of
relinquishing all Dower and right of Dower in the
