acknowledgments of deeds Etc to be used and recorded in said
State of Florida, to me well Known to be the person who
Executed the foregoing deed by him sealed and subscribed
and the said Lawrason Riggs acknowledged the execution
thereof to be his free act and deed, as the executor of
the estate of George W. Riggs deceased, for the uses and pur
poses therein mentioned In witness whereof I have hereunto

To all persons to whom these presents shall come Greeting
Know Ye That on the 20th day of September in the Year
of our Lord 1881, Administration of all the goods chattles
and credits of George W. Riggs late of the District of
Columbia deceased was by the Supreme Court of the
District of Columbia aforesaid granted and committed
unto Lawrason Riggs the said Lawrason Riggs as
Executor of said George W. Riggs deceased having first
executed a bond to the United States with two good
sureties approved by the said Court in the penalty of
Six hundred thousand dollars conditioned for the
faithful performance of the Trust in him reposed and
having also taken the required oath. |
