and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any
wise appertaining To have and to hold the same
unto him the said William A. Wood and to his heirs
executors administrators and assigns in fee simple
absolute and I the said James W. Williams do here
by covenant and agree to and with the said William
A. Wood that he is lawfully seized in fee of the prop
erty herein and hereby conveyed and that I have
good and lawful right to sell and convey the same
that the same is free from all encumbrances of any
Kind whatsoever and that I will and my heirs ex
ecutors administrators and assigns against the
lawful claims and demands of any and all persons
whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim
the same In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed my seal on this 24th day
of April A.D. 1883.

Mrs. Harriet Williams wife of James W. Williams the
grantor in the foregoing conveyance who being first
duly questioned and examined by me separate and
apart from her said husband says and acknowledges
before me that she did sign the said deed of convey
ance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing and ren
ouncing all of her right of Dower in and to the
land in said deed described and that said relinquish
ment and renunciation of Dower was done and made
by her freely and voluntarily and without any compul
sion constraint apprehension or fear of or from her
said husband
