J.M. Hallowes & Wife to The Savh Bank & Trust Co
                      "Deed"
This Indenture made the seventh day of May in
the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty three Between J.M. Hallowes and his wife
Frances E. Hallowes of the County of Suwannee and State
of Florida of the first part and the Savannah Bank
and Trust Company a corporation established under
the laws of the State of Georgia and having its prin
cipal place of business in Savannah Georgia of the
second part witnesseth that the said part of the first 
part for and in consideration of the sum of Five
hundred and fifty ($550 00/100) Dollars lawful mon
ey of the United States of America to them in hand
paid by the said party of the second part at
or before the ensealing and delivery of these presen
ts the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained sold aliened remised released
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do
grant bargain sell alien remise release convey and
confirm unto the said party of the second part and
its Successors and assigns forever all that certain tract
lot piece or parcel of land lying and being in
the County of Alachua and State of Florida des
cribed as follows A fractional part of Section
Eight (8) in township ten (10) South Range
Twenty East particularly described as follows to wit
Beginning at a point thirty feet South of and
from the center of the Florida transit Railroad track
which point is located twenty five feet West of and
from the Florida Southern Railway track and run
ning thence South thirty four (34°) degrees West
nine (9) chains and sixty eight (68) links to a stake
thence North seventy eight (78°) degrees East Nine (9)
chains and fifty 50 links: thence North Six (6) Chains
and eighty (80) links to a stake thirty feet (30) south
of and from the center of the Florida Transit Rail
road track thence in a westerly direction along a
line parallel to and thirty feet from the center
of the said Florida Transit Railroad track to the
point of beginning containing Four (4) acres and
eight (8/100) one hundredths of an acre more or less
exclusive of the right of way of the Florida South
ern Railway and being the same lot of land convey
ed to the party of the first part March 3d A.D. 1883,
by W.A. Colclough O.C Colclough and C.A. Colclough
and recorded on pages 324, 325, and 326 of the Public
Records of Deeds for Alachua County Florida
