                     "Deed"
This Indenture made this 17 day of May in the
Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
Eighty three Between James B. Brown and Ella D. Brown
his wife of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
of the first part and E. Marsh of Alton State of
Illinois party of the of the second part Witness
eth that the said parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of Nine Hundred and
fifty three 34/100 Dollars to them in hand paid by the
said party of the second part the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
sold aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell alein
remise release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and his heirs and assigns
forever all that lot of land lying and being in the
county of Alachua and State of Florida described
as follows Beginning at the South West Corner
of Mrs. Whetstones lot which point is located in
the center of the public road leading west from
Gainesville Twenty five chains west of the point
at which said road crosses the line dividing
Section One Township ten South Range Nineteen
East and Section Six in township ten South
Range twenty East and running thence North
along the west boundary line of said Mrs. Whet
stones lot twenty nine chains and Eighty links
to Whetstones North West Corner thence West four
teen chains and fifty links to the line of Dr. Gus
tines land thence South along the entire line
twenty nine chains and Eighty links to the centre
of said public road thence East along said road
