and State for and in consideration of the sum of One
Thousand ($1000.#) Dollars to them in hand paid by
Phillip Miller of the County of Alachua in the state of
Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto him
the said Phillip Miller and his heirs all that certain
lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying and
being in the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
particularly Known and described as follows to wit Beg
inning at a Stake which is located Four (4) Chains and
Fifty (50) Links North Five and three quarter (5.3/4) deg
rees West from the North East Corner of the "Thomas
Napier Grant" in said County of Alachua and state
of Florida and running thence South Eighty four
and a quarter (84 1/4) Degrees West & Twelve (12) Chains
and Eighty (80) Links to the water line of "Bivins Arm"
of Paynes Prairie thence in a North Westerly dir
ection along the said Water line Tour (4) Chains
and seventy five (75) links to a stake: thence North
Eighty four and a quarter (84 1/4) Degrees East Fourteen
(14) Chains and Fifty (50) Links to a stake thence South
Five and three quarter degrees East Four (4) Chains
and Fifty (50) links to the point of beginning con
taining Six (6) Acres and Fourteen hundredths of
an acre more or less The same being within and
being a part of the "D.L. Clinch Grant" of One thous
and (1000) Acres of land lying in township ten (10)
South of Range twenty 20 East in said Alachua
County Florida together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belon
ging or in anywise appertaining To have and to
hold the same unto him the said Phillip Miller
and to his heirs executors administrators and assigns
in fee simple absolute and We the said Thornton
B. Stringfellow and Robert L. Stringfellow do hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said Phillip
Miller that we are lawfully seized in fee of the prop
erty herein and hereby conveyed and that we have
good and lawful right to sell and convey the same
that the same is free from all encumbrances of any 
Kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs
executors and administrators shall and will forever
warrant and defend the same unto him the said
Phillip Miller and to his executors administra
tors and assigns against the lawful claims and
demands of any and all persons whomsoever now
claiming or hereafter to claim the same In witness
