Alachua County } Know all men by these presents that
N.D. Phillips and K.J. Phillips his wife of the aforesaid
County and State for and in consideration of the sum
of Twenty Six dollars to them in hand paid by S.F. Hal
liday of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida
the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have gran
ted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto him the said S.F. Halliday
all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated
lying and being in the county of Alachua in the State of
Florida particularly Known and described as follows to wit
So Much of lot number (10) ten in Section (16) Sixteen of
Township (10) ten S of Range (20) twenty east according to
map of survey of said section sixteen made & drawn
by W.C. Miller C.E. on file in the Clerks office of said
County as lies West of the Florida Southern Railway
and further described as commencing at a stake due
East of the North East corner of Lot (11) Eleven which stake
is (15) fifteen feet from the center of the said rail
road: then running south parallel with said Road
to a Stake fifteen (15) feet from center of said
Railway track: thence West 263 two hundred and
sixty three feet to South East Corner of Lot (11) Eleven
thence North (660) Six hundred and Sixty feet to
North East Corner of lot (11) Eleven: thence East
(83) Eighty three feet to point of beginning containing
by estimation 2 6/10 acres of land or less together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise apper
taining To have and to hold the same unto the said
S.F. Halliday and to his heirs executors administrators
and assigns in fee simple absolute and we the said
N.D. Phillips and K.J. Phillips his wife do hereby covenant
and agree to and with the said S.F. Halliday that they
are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and
hereby conveyed and that we have good and law
ful right to sell and convey the same that the same
is free from all encumbrances of any Kind whatsoever
and that they will and their heirs executors and ad
ministrators shall and will forever warrant and def
end the same unto the said S.F. Halliday and to
his heirs executors administrators and assigns
against the lawfull claims and demands of any
and all persons whomsoever now claiming or here
after to claim the same In witness whereof we
