to us in hand paid by S.F. Halliday of the County of
Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof we
do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold and
conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
and convey unto him the said S.F. Halliday all of that
certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated lying
and being in the County of Alachua in the State of 
Florida particularly Known and described as follows
to wit Commencing at the South East corner of lot
One (1) Block five (5) Range three (3) in the town of Gain
esville Alachua County Florida as shown by the survey
of said town a map of which is on file in Book "N"
page 383 in the public Records of Alachua County Florida
& run North One hundred & twenty (120) feet: thence west
One hundred & twenty four (124) feet: thence south one
hundred & twenty (120) feet: thence East One hundred
& twenty our (124) feet to the place of beginning contain
fourteen thousand eight hundred & Eighty 14880 square
feet containing by estimation a fractional acre of land
more or less together with all and singular the tene
ments hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belon
ging or in anywise appertaining To have and to hold
the same unto him the said S.F. Halliday and to his
heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simp
le absolute and we the said Ida E. Burnett and
her husband Samuel J. Burnett do hereby covenant
and agree to and with the said S.F. Halliday that
we are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein
and hereby conveyed and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same that the
same is free from all encumbrances of any Kind wh
atsoever and that we will and our heirs executors
and administrators shall and will forever warrant
and defend the same unto him the said S.F. Hall
iday and to his heirs executors administrators
and assigns against the lawful claims and dem
ands of any and all persons whomsoever now claim
ing or hereafter to claim the same In witness whereof
we have hereunto set our hands and affixed our
seals on this 9th day of April A.D. 1883.
