the same being a court of record do hereby certify
that John C. Cornelson whose genuine signature appears to the
foregoing certificate of examination and probate is and
was at the time of taking and signing the same an
acting Justice of the Peace in and for said county
duly commissioned and sworn and that full faith and
credance is due to his official acts as such.

    James R. Adkins to Jacob S. Beckstresser
                   "Deed"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   }  This Indenture made this Eighth
day of May A.D. 1883 between James R. Adkins of
said State and County parties of the first part and
Jacob S. Beckstresser of Hantzdale of the County
of Clearfield State of Pennsylvania of the second
part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the
sum of One hundred Dollars to the parties of the first
part paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledg
ed have granted bargained sold and by these prese
nts do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns in
fee Simple all of that certain tract or parcel of land
lying and being in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida and described as follows to wit: One
Square Acre in the South East Corner of a tract
of five acres bought by said Adkins from G.Y.
Thigpen on the third day of November A.D. 1882
and conveyed to said Adkins by deed recorded in
the public records of said Alachua County in Book
"N" pages 915 & 916 and being in the town of Hawth
orn and in section Twenty Seven Township Ten South
Range twenty two East said five Acre tract being
described as follows beginning at the South West corner
of the North East Quarter of the South East Quarter of said
Section thence North (86°) Eighty six degrees east seven
Chains: thence North two degrees & thirty minutes West
(2° 30' W) Seven and fifteen hundredths chains: thence
South eighty six degrees West seven chains: thence South
two degrees and thirty minutes East seven and fifteen
