E.D. Barnett & Wife to Wm M. Knox

State of Florida }
Alachua County   }  Know all Men by these presents that
We E.D. Barnett & his wife Alvania A. Barnett of the
aforesaid County and State for and in consideration of the
Sum of One hundred & fifty dollars to us in hand paid by
Wm M. Knox of the County of Alachua in the state of
Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have
granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these prese
nts do grant bargain sell and convey unto him the
said Wm M. Knox all of that certain lot piece tract or
parcel of land situated lying and being in the county of
Alachua in the State of Florida particularly Known and
described as follows to wit One undivided one half interest
in two Acres of land situated lying and being in the
Town of Micanopy State and County aforesaid descr
ibed as follows to wit Bonded on the North by lands
or lots owned by E.D. Barnett and Wm M. Knox on the
West by lot owned by E.D. Barnett and Wm M. Knox on the
South by lots owned by P. McQuaid and A.H. Matheus on
the East by Main Street being a part of Section twenty
six 26 Township 11 Eleven Range 20 twenty S & E con
taining by estimation Two Acres of land more or less Togeth
er with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertain
ing To have and to hold the same unto him the said
Wm M. Knox and to his heirs executors administrators and
assigns in fee simple absolute and we the said E.D. Bar
nett & Alvania A. Barnett do hereby covenant and agree
to and with the said Wm M. Knox that we are lawfully seized
in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed and that
we have good and lawful right to sell and convey the
same that the same is free from all encumbrances of any
Kind whatsoever and that we will and our heirs execu
tors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and
defend the same unto him the said Wm M. Knox and to
his heirs executors administrator and assigns against the
lawful claims and demands of and and all persons
whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the
same In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hand
and affixed this seal on this the 17th day of January
A.D. 1883.
