of January A.D. 1883 before me personally appeared Mrs. Alv
ania A. Barnett wife of E.D. Barnett and Mattie F. Knox
wife of Wm M. Knox the grantor in the foregoing convey
ance who being first duly questioned and examined by
me separate and apart from her said husband says and
acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed
of conveyance for the purpose of releasing relinquishing
and renouncing all of her right of Dower in and to the
land in said deed described and that said relinquishment
and renunciation of Dower was done and made by her
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion con
straint apprehension or fear of or from her said hus

B. French and Elizabeth French his wife all of the
County of Dane and State of Wis for and in con
sideration of the sum of Thirty five hundred dollars
to them in hand paid by Linden K. Rawlins and Percy
F. Wilson of the County of Alachua in the State of
Florida the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
