This Indenture made this Tenth day of May in the
Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
Eighty three (1883.) Between E. Lawrence King & wife
Mary E. King of the county of Duval and State of
Florida of the first part and George B. Griffin
of Duval County & State of Florida of the second 
part witnesseth that the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of ($1000) One
Thousand Dollars to us in hand paid by the said
party of the second part the receipt whereof is here
by acknowledged we have granted bargained sold
aliened remised released conveyed and confirmed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien
remise release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and his heirs and assig
ns forever all all that tract or parcel of land lying
and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida
described as follows (124 acres) One Hundred and twenty
four Acres more or less of the South west Quarter of
Section (29) Twenty nine Range (22) twenty two Also
a parcel of land lying in the South East quarter of
Section (18) Eighteen Town (10) Ten Range (21) Twenty one
and also that part of the fraction lying between the
two parcels above mentioned and also as will be described
by the report of survey as follows Start at the South
west corner of section Twenty nine (29) Town Ten (10)
Range Twenty two and run the variation of the need
le being (5 1/2) five and a half degrees East one hund
red and sixty poles (160) Then North one Hundred and
twenty four poles (124) Then West (370) Three hundred
& seventy poles to a water oak and Palmetto as Pointer
on Locklusa Creek Then South Twenty four degrees
24 West One Hundred & thirty nine Poles 139 including
all that parcel lying between this line & Locklusa
Creek Then East with the southern line of section

Stake on Fraction line Two hundred & twelve poles
