This Indenture made and entered into on this the Twenty fourth
day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight
hundred and seventy nine Between the Florida Land and
Immigration Company a body corporate under the laws of the
State of Florida party of the first part and Hattie A. Blitch
wife of George M. Blitch of the town of Archer County of
Alachua and State of Florida party of the second part witness
eth that the said party of the first part for and in con
sideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars lawful mon
ey of the United States of America to it in hand paid by
the said party of the second part at or before the en
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged has given granted aliened bar
gained sold transferred conveyed and confirmed and
does by these presents give grant alien bargain sell
transfer remise release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and to her heirs and assigns
forever all that certain tract or parcel of land situate
lying and being in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida and Known and described on the public
maps and records of said state as the North West quarter
of the North East quarter of the North west quarter of
the South East quarter of Section Seventeen in Town
ship Eleven South of Range Eighteen East containing
Tow and one half acres more or less (NW1/4 of NE
1/4 of NW1/4 of SE1/4 Sec 17 T11 S R18 E) To have
and to hold the above granted bargained and described
premises Together with all and singular the rights and
privileges immunities easements and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said
party of the second part and to her heirs and ass
igns as their absolute property in fee simple forever
And the said Florida Land and Immigration Comp
any for itself and assigns and for all others claim
ing by throug or under it does covenant and agree
that at the time of the execution and delivery of
these presents the said company is seized of a good
and indefeasible fee simple to the above premises and
has good right to convey the same as it has con
veyed the same free and discharged from all
incumbrances and liens of any and every nature
and description and that the said party of the
second part her heirs and assigns shall
quietly and peaceably and may at all times here
after have use occupy possess and enjoy the
