Sarah E. Dennis to Julia D. Finley
                  Relinquishment of Dower
State Mass.  }
       County}  Know all men by these presents that
I Sarah E. Dennis wife of Leonard G. Dennis of the State of
Florida and County of Alachua for and in consideration
of the sum of Ten Dollars to me in hand paid the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged do by these presents remise
release and renounce all my right of dower that now
exists or may hereafter accrue in and to all that certain
piece or parcel of land sold by my said husband to
Julia D. Finley wife of Samuel Y. Finley of the State
of Florida Alachua County and described as follows
viz All that Certain piece or parcel of land lying
and being in said County of Alachua and State of
Florida Known as Lot Number one (1) in Block
number one (1) of Range Number Four (4) in Ropers
Addition to Gainesville according to the map thereof
Containing by estimation one acre of land more or
less In testimony whereof witness my hand & seal the
28th day of May A.D. 1883.

  Essex County  }  Personally appeared before me a notary
Public in the State of Mass duly appointed and qualified
by the laws of said State Mrs. Sarah E. Dennis wife of
Leonard G. Dennis of Alachua County Florida who being
examined by me separate and apart from her said
husband acknowledged that she executed the foregoing
relinquishment of Dower freely and voluntarily and without
any constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said
husband and makes this acknowledgment for the
purposes thereof and that the same may be recorded
Taken and acknowledged at Beverly County of Essex
and Commonwealth of Massachusetts this the 28th
day of May A.D. 1883.
