Internal Improvement Fund State of Florida Deed No 11780
29,003.19 Acres  Whereas The trustees of the Internal
Improvement of the State of Florida, under the terms of the
agreement of sale and purchase made between the said
trustees and Hamilton Diston of the City and County of
Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania bearing date the
first day of June A.D. 1881 for the consideration of one
Million of Dollars, therein stipulated to be paid and recited
agreed for themselves and their successors Deeds conveyances and
assurances, to the said Hamilton Disston and his associ
ates or to such person or persons as he might direct
or appoint an absolute indefeasible estate in fee sim
ple to Four Million acres of land of the lands of said
Internal Improvement Fund acquired by the State of Flo
rida under the act of congress of September 28th
1850, And whereas the said Hamilton Disston has appoin
ted the Florida Land and Improvement Company a cor
poration body created and existing under the laws
of the State of Florida as the person or party to whom
the title shall be made to the lands hereinafter descr
ibed being part of said Four Million Acres and has
requested and directed the said trustees to make title
to the same, to the said Company. Now Know all men
by these presents that the undersigned the trustees of
the Internal Improvement Fund under the act of the Gen
eral Assembly of the State of Florida entitled "An Act
to provide for and encourage a liberal System of
Internal Improvements in this State" approved January
6th 1855, for and in consideration of the premises and
of the sum of Twenty five cents per Acre to them in hand
paid by the said Hamilton Disston: have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents do grant
bargain and sell and convey unto the said Florida
Land and Improvement Company and their success
ors and assigns the following described lands to wit:
The north half of the south East quarter the north
half of the south west quarter and the south East
quarter of the south west quarter of section one
all of section Two: The east half of the north east 
quarter and the east half of the south east quarter
of Section Five (the east half of the north East quarter
