Thos A. Darby To Frank Palmer
                Agreement for Title
This is to certify that Frank Palmer has purchased from
Thomas A. Darby all that certain tract piece or parcel of land
situated lying and being in the county of Alachua and State
of Florida and Known and described by the public survey
as section numbered One (1) of Township numbered Eleven
(11) of Range numbered eighteen (18) It is however under
stood by the parties hereto that the Steam saw mill
Machinery track and other parts of said Mill and two
terpentine Stills brick and other things used about
said stills and all the goods wares and merchandise
in and about the house Known as a store are not inclu
ded in this sale and remain the property of said Thom
as A. Darby and it is understood and agreed by the
parties hereto that the said Thomas A. Darby shall have
until the 15th day of February 1884 Eighteen hundred
and Eighty four free of rent or other charges to
remove said Steam Saw Mill Machinery brick
and other things and said stills brick &c and
the goods wares and merchandise aforesaid from
said above described lands for which the said
Frank Palmer has paid to the said Thomas A. Darby
the sum of one Thousand Dollars and has also
executed his two promissory notes bearing even date
with these presents payable in Twelve and twenty
four months respectively for the sums of one Thousand
dollars Each That is to say our Note at twelve mon
ths One Thousand Dollars and our Note at twenty
four months One Thousand Dollars on the payment
of which said several notes the said Thomas A. Darby
hereby binds himself to make to the said Frank Palmer
a good and perfect title in fee simple to the said
lands It being however distinctly understood that in
the event of a failure to pay either of said notes with
in thirty days after the same shall have matured it
shall be solely at the option of said Thomas A. 
Darby whether to enforce payment of said notes or to
Treat the contract as annuled all previous payments
as forfeited and to resell said lands In witness where
of the said Thomas A. Darby has hereunto set his
hand and seals the 14th day of February 1883.
