                   "Deed"
Know all men by these presents that I B.S. Foster
of the aforesaid Count and State for and in con
consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars
to him in hand paid by David J. Roper of the
County of Montgomery in the State of North Carolina the
receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto him the said Dav
id J. Roper all of the certain lot piece tract or parcel
of land situated lying and being in the county of Ala
chua in the State of Florida particularly Known and de
scribed as follows to wit: Lont one (1) South half of
lot Three (3) lot five (5) East half of lot seven (7)
lot ten (10) lot Seventeen (17) lot twenty one (21)
and all of lots twenty two (22) twenty three (23) and
Twenty four (24) said lots twenty two (22) twenty
three (23) and Twenty four (24) Situated in Browns
except what has been previously conveyed to other
parties of said lots 22 23 & 24 in Thomas Napier one
thousand acres Grant a Map of which is now on
file in clerks office of Alachua County Florida and
situated in Township ten (10) South of Range Nine
teen & twenty 19 & 20 East containing by estimation
acres of land more or less Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurten
ances to the same belonging or in anywise apper
taining To have and to hold the same unto him
the said David J. Roper and to his heirs execu
tors administrators and assigns in fee simple absolute
I the said B.S. Foster do hereby covenant and
agree to and with the said David J. Roper that
I am lawfully seized in fee of the property herein
and hereby conveyed and that we have good and
lawful right to sell and convey the same the the
same is free from all encumbrances of any Kind
