Alachua County   }  Know all men by these presents that
We Esther M. Powell and her husband Benj W. Powell
of the aforesaid County and State for and in Consid
eration of the sum of Ten dollars to us in hand paid
by William H. Powell of the same County and State the
receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and convey unto him the said
William H. Powell all of that certain lot piece tract or
parcel of land situated lying and being in the county
of Alachua and State of Florida particularly Known and
described as follows to wit Fractional section Twenty (20)
Township Eleven South of Range Twenty 20 East
containing by estimation four hundred acres of land
and Water Twelve & 22/100 Acres of which is dry land
the remaining portion of said Tract Section of land
being conveyed by the waters of Levy Lake: Also about
three acres by estimation of dry land in the north
west corner of Frac Section Twenty one (21) Town
ship Eleven (11) South of Range Twenty (20) East
immediately joining contiguous to the first named
tract of land on its eastern boundary Together with all
and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining To
have and to hold the same unto the said William H.
Powell and to his heirs executors administrators and
assigns in fee simple absolute and we the said
Esther M. Powell and her husband Benj W. Powell do hereby
covenant and agree to and with the said William H.
Powell that we will and our heirs executors and adm
inistrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the
same unto him the said William H. Powell and to his
heirs executors administrators and assigns against the
lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whom
soever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same In
witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
affixed our seals on this 14th day of June AD. 1883.
