Alachua County   }  Know all men by these Presents that
Mary Ann Johnson (wife of J.K. Johnson) of the affore
said county and State for and in consideration of the
sum of One hundred dollars to her in hand paid by
W.T. Keown of the County of Alachua in the State
of Florida the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by 
these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
him the said W.T. Keown all of that certain lot piece
tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in
the County of Alachua in the State of Florida partic
ularly known and described as follows to wit the
West Half (W 1/2) of the North East quarter (NE 1/4) of
the North West quarter NW 1/4 Twenty acres in Section
Twenty Eight (28) Township Eleven (T11) Range Eighteen
(R18) known as part of the Blue Peter Place contain
ing by estimation Twenty acres of land more or less. Tog-
ether with all and Singular the tenements hereditaments
and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise
appertaining To have and to hold the same unto him
the said W.T. Keown and to his heirs executors admin
istrators and assigns in fee simple absolute and she
the said Mary Ann Johnson do hereby covenant and
agree to and with the said W.T. Keown that she is
lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and here
by conveyed and that we have good and lawful right
to sell and convey the same that the same is free from
all encumbrances of any Kind whatsoever and that she
will and her heirs executors and administrators shall
and will forever warrant and defend the same unto him
the said W.T. Keown and to his heirs executors admin
istrators and assigns against the lawful claims and
demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claim
ing or hereafter to claim the same In witness whereof
I have hereunto set my hand an affixed my seal on
this Tenth day of January A.D. 1883.
