      Herbert M. Godfrey To Wiliam Bancroft
                        "Deed"
Know all Men by these presents that I herbert M. God
frey of Taunton in the County of Bristol and Com
monwealth of Massachusetts In consideration of Three
Hundred Dollars Paid by William Bancroft of Milford
in the County of Worcester in said Commonwealth the
receip whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby give grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said William Bancroft
all of that certain lot piece tract or parcel of land sit
uated lying and being in the County of Alachua in
the State of Florida particularly Known and described as
follows to wit: The south 1/2 of Lot No 23 which Lot
is east 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of Section
12 Township 9 South of Range 20 East Containing by
Estimation ten acres of land more or less To have and to
Hold the above granted premises with all the privileges
and appurtenances thereto belonging to the said William
Bancroft his heirs and assigns to his & their use and be
hoof forever and I the said Herbert M. Godfrey for my
Heirs Executors and administrators do covenant with the
said William Bancroft his Heirs and Assigns that I am
lawfully Seized in fee simple of the afore granted prem
ises that they are free from all encumbrances that I have Good
right to sell and convey the same to the said William Bancr
oft his Heirs and assigns forever as aforesaid and that I will
and my Heirs Executors and administrators shall warrant
and defend the same to the said William Bancroft his heirs
and assigns forever against the lawfull claims and demands
