now the property of said Ormand being land sold
said Perry by deed from Jacob Link dated January
Eighth A.D. 1883, and being all the remainder of the
North Half of said Quarter section not heretofore owned
by said Ormand To have and to hold the above described
land to the said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns Together with the rights members and appurte
nances thereunto being belonging or in any wise apper
taining And the said parties of the first part for
themselves their heirs executors administrators and ass
igns the title to the above bargained sold and con
veyed premises will forever warrant and defend ag
ainst all legal claims and demands In testimony
whereof We have hereunto set our hands and seals

the undersigned Daniel F. Perry and Martha
A. Perry who I am satisfied are the grantors
aforesaid and acknowledged that they executed
the foregoing deed for the purpose of conveying
the land therein described to Monroe H. Ormand
And the said Martha A. Perry upon an examination
Made by me separate and apart from her hus
band acknowledges that she made herself a
party to said conveyance for the purpose of
relinquishing all dower and right of dower in the
lands therein mentioned and that she did so
freely and voluntarily and without any fear con
straint or compulsion from her said husband
