Alachua County. } Know all men by these Presents:
That I Alexander Coulter donate the following land to the town of
Coulterville
of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of 00
for the purpose of erecting a Public school House for the Town of Coulterville
Dollars to in hand paid by and vicinity for White expressly
of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge,
have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Town of Coulterville
or any name it may hereafter be called.
all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, State of Florida particularly known and described as follows, to wit:
Commencing at a stake thirty feet from the NE corner of Coulterville
running (255) Two hundred and fifty five feet Parallel with the public Road
better Known as the Black Creek road, Thence (255) Two hundred and fifty five
feet down Florida Southern Rail Road, thence (150) One hundred and fifty feet
to place of beginning.
containing by estimation 3/4 Three quarters acres of land, more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appertenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To Have and to Hold the same unto the said Town of Coulterville
and to his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And I the said Alexander Coulter donate
the said Land for the express purpose of erecting a Public school House and
the town of Coulterville
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Alexander Coulter to erect a suitable building for
school house
that Town of Coulterville lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that we have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free
from all encumberances of any kind whatsoever, and that I will and his heirs, executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and
defend the same unto the said Town of Coulterville
and to their heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to
claim the same.

The State of Florida,} I Hereby Certify that on the 10th day of
Alachua County. } Sept A.D. 1883 before me personally appeared
Mrs Sarah M. Coulter wife of Alexander Coulter the grantor in the
foregoing conveyance, who being first duly qusetioned and examined by me, separate and apart from her said husband, says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the
said deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of Dower in and to land in said deed described, and that the said Relinquishment
and Renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or from her husband.
