Know all men by these Presents, That we N.D. Phillips and his wife K.J. Phillips who joins in this deed for
the purpose of reliquishing her dower
of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred and fifty ($350.00)
Dollars
to us in hand paid by Mrs M.J. Carter
of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof
we do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain,
sell and convey unto her the said Mrs M.J. Carter and to her heirs and assigns
all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, State of Florida particularly known and described as follows, to wit:
The South half of the North West quarter of the South West quarter of the North
East quarter of Section (32) Thirty two in Township (9) Nine South of Range (20)
Twenty East
containing by estimation Five acres of land, more or less, Together with all and singular the
tenements, hereditaments and appertenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To Have and to Hold the same unto her the said Mrs M.J. Carter
and to her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And we the said
N.D Phillips and K.J. Phillips his wife
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Mrs M.J. Carter her heirs and assigns
that we are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that we
have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumberances of any kind whatsoever, and that
we will and our heirs, executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto
her the said Mrs M.J. Carter
and to her heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now
claiming or hereafter to claim the same.

28th day of March A.D. 1884

I Hereby Certify that on the 28th day of March A.D. 1884 before me personally
appeared Mrs. K.J. Phillips to me well known as the
wife of N.D. Phillips
the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being first duly qusetioned and examined by me, separate and apart from her said husband, says and
acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of
Dower in and to land in said deed described, and that the said Relinquishment and Renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and
voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or from her husband.
