Deed No 13096                    10502 98 acres
Whereas the Legislature of the State of Florida by an act
approved March Fourth Eighteen Hundred and Seventy Nine
entitled "an act to grant Certain Lands to the Gainesville Ocala
and Charlotte Harbor Railroad Company" in consideration
of the greatly improved value which would accrue to the
State from the construction of the road of the said Company
its branches and extensions in the fifth section thereof
did grant to the said Gainesville Ocala and Charlotte
Harbor Railroad Company ten thousand acres of land
for each mile of road it might construct of the lands granted
to the state by the act of Congress of September Twenty Eight
Eighteen hundred and fifty said lands to be of those
which might be nearest the lien of said road its branches
