Alachua County   } Before the Subscriber personally came John Bates
& Georgia E. Bates his wife both well known to me and acknowledged
signing the foregoing deed of conveyance for the purpose therein
set forth and Georgia E. Bates wife of John Bates being examined by
me separate and apart from her said husband declared that Signed the
same freely voluntarily and without any compulsion fear or dread
from or of her said husband. In witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand

           To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting
Homestead Certificate No 4092 }  
Application 6705              } Whereas There has been deposited 
in the General Land Office of the United States a Certificate of 
the Register of the Land office at Gainesville Florida Whereby it 
appears that pursuant to the act of Congress approved 20th 
May 1862 "To secure Homesteads to actual Settlers on the Public 
Domain" and the acts supplemental thereto the claim of Robert
F. Tracy has been established and duly consumated in conformity to law 
for the lot numbered three of Section Six in township nine 
South of Range twenty two east of Tallahassee Meridian in
Florida containing thirty nine and thirty two hundredths 
of an acre according to the Official Plat of the survey of the 
said Land returned to the General Land office by the Surveyor 
General Now Know ye that there is therefore granted by 
the United States unto the said Robert F. Tracy the tract 
of land above described to have and to hold the said tract
